AL KHOBAR, KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA

Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Salman Center for Disability Research, visited the Hiba Center for Down Syndrome in Al Khobar city. The center is one of the initiatives of the Abdulkadir Al Muhaidib Social Foundation.

Dr. Sami bin Ghazi Al-Otaibi, Director of Education in the Eastern Province, emphasized the importance of this center, stating, “We are proud that the Eastern Province hosts an integrated educational center for a group dear to our hearts. The Ministry of Education is keen on utilizing this facility by providing educational and developmental programs for male and female students with Down Syndrome, enabling them to become independent and productive individuals.”

We are proud to have a facility like the Muhaidib Down Syndrome Center, which is established at the highest standards and operated by the best educational professionals. We are pleased with the signed agreement between the foundation and the King Salman Center for Disability Research, which undoubtedly holds great importance. The center is going through an exceptional phase in this exceptional era, as the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques is keen on harnessing all resources to address the issue of disabilities and consider it a central issue, not merely a procedural one.

Suleiman bin Abdulkadir Al Muhaidib, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Muhaidib Group, stated, “Our beloved Kingdom is witnessing unprecedented developmental plans and projects under our wise leadership. We are proud of the opportunity given to the Abdulkadir Al Muhaidib Social Foundation to contribute to the establishment of an exemplary educational center that covers all stages of education for boys and girls with Down Syndrome in partnership with the Ministry of Education.”
