Abdul Qadir Al-Muhaidib Foundation for Community Service announced the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance on Tuesday, October 17, which was attended by a number of officials and those interested in this matter in the Kingdom. The agreement was signed between Ms. Sarah bint Issam Al-Muhaidib, Executive Director of Abdul Qadir Al-Muhaidib Foundation for Community Service, and a representative of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, His Eminence Dr. Abdulaziz bin Ibrahim Al Sheikh, Advisor to His Excellency the Minister and Chairman of the Initiatives Committee. This agreement aims to enhance cooperation and coordination between the Foundation and the Ministry regarding its activities. The agreement between the two parties included several important points, most notably that it was agreed to work together to establish, restore, maintain and clean mosques, supervise Islamic centers inside and outside the country, and host pilgrims and Umrah performers, in order to ensure the quality of religious services provided by the Foundation. In their quest to humanize mosques, innovative and sustainable ways were discussed to continuously improve the religious environment inside mosques, encourage positive interaction and effective communication between visitors, and consult on the mechanism for expanding the horizons of joint work between the two sides. Ms. Sarah bint Issam Al-Muhaidib expressed her happiness at signing the agreement, stressing that this cooperation will contribute to enhancing the charitable and development efforts of the foundation and achieving its common goals with the ministry.
