“Umrah Al-Alam” is in its thirteenth year
Abdul Qader Al-Muhaidib Foundation for Community Service signs two cooperation agreements with Hayat Charity Foundation and Hassan Taher Charity Foundation to host more than 160 male and female pilgrims from around the world.
Under the umbrella of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Abdul Qader Al-Muhaidib Foundation for Community Service signs two cooperation agreements with Hayat Charity Foundation and Hassan Taher Charity Foundation to implement the “World Umrah” initiative. This initiative aims to host more than 160 male and female pilgrims annually from more than 50 countries around the world to perform Umrah rituals and learn about the principles of our true Islamic religion. In addition, the program will include visits that highlight the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in serving the Two Holy Mosques. The program is scheduled to start in December of this year and will last for 15 days between Madinah and Makkah. Regarding the importance of the “Umrah of the World” initiative, Ms. Sarah bint Issam Al-Muhaidib, Executive Director of the Abdul Qader Al-Muhaidib Foundation for Community Service, stated: “For 13 years, we have been striving to implement the “Umrah of the World” initiative to adhere to the highest quality standards in planning and implementation, to provide Muslims from around the world with the opportunity to visit the Two Holy Mosques and learn about the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in serving the guests of God. Today, I would like to express my thanks and gratitude to our partners at the Hayat Charitable Foundation and the Hassan Taher Charitable Foundation for their belief in this initiative, and this cooperation will certainly be reflected in the quality and sustainability of the program.” Through implementing this initiative, we affirm our endeavor to align with the goals of our wise government in increasing the number of pilgrims, improving their experience, and spreading our culture and the teachings of our true Islamic religion in various countries of the world in order to achieve our Kingdom’s Vision 2030.” Eng. Faisal bin Saif Al-Din Al-Samnoudi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hayat Charity Foundation, stated: “We are pleased to sign this agreement again with Abdul Qadir Al-Muhaidib Foundation for Community Service to implement the “Umrah of the World” initiative, which we have witnessed its positive impact on pilgrims by increasing their awareness of our religious culture, Islamic values, and our Kingdom’s tireless efforts to improve the experience of the Guests of God. I would also like to thank Abdul Qadir Al-Muhaidib Foundation for Community Service for opening the door to partnerships in implementing this initiative.” For his part, Dr. Abdulrahman bin Talal Al-Muhalhal, Deputy CEO of Hassan Taher Charity Foundation, expressed the importance of this cooperation, saying: “We are honored to cooperate with Abdul Qadir Al-Muhaidib Foundation for Community Service in this year’s “Umrah of the World” initiative. We are committed to providing full support to implement this initiative and provide a unique and fruitful experience for male and female pilgrims. We see the importance of enhancing cooperation and exchanging experiences in the non-profit sector, which in turn contributes to maximizing the benefit and increasing the impact." It is worth noting that more than 1,300 male and female pilgrims have benefited from the initiative to date. This initiative aims to form ambassadors for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia around the world, and to introduce people to the honorable image of the Kingdom and the great efforts made by our wise government in serving the guests of the Two Holy Mosques.
