Introducing the first Post Graduate Diploma in Child Mental Health in the Kingdom in cooperation with Alfaisal University and Massachusetts General Hospital, and in partnership with the Sulaiman Saleh Olayan Foundation, under the supervision of Dr. Lamis Al Saleem.

Our Foundation is participating in the development of a Post Graduate Diploma in Mental Health, the first of its kind in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The aim is to strengthen qualified local professionals in the field of Child Mental Health. This initiative offers a two-year on-the-job diploma to enable individuals to effectively address children’s mental disorders and enhance their mental well-being from early childhood. The initiative is the result of collaborations between several organizations, including the Sulaiman Saleh Olayan Foundation, Abdulkadir Al Muhaidib Social Foundation, Alfaisal University, and Dr. Lamees Al-Saleem, representing the Massachusetts General Hospital, the primary teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School.”

The program aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of children and adolescents’ mental health, covering areas such as assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental health disorders. It encompasses various subjects, including developmental psychology, neuroscience, pharmacotherapy, psychotherapy, and the development of specialized professionals to meet the increasing demand in this field.
